Even though reading the Terms of Use of Since Being Single Limited (“SBS Community”, “SBS”, “us”, “we”) feels like a boring waste of time, we highly recommend that you read SBS’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy (“Terms and Privacy Policy”, “Policy”) before using the site, products and or services. The Terms are a contract between you and SBS, which is applicable when you use our web sites (including www.sincegingsingle.com and www.foundationsindating.com), services, mobile applications, products, and content provided by SBS, globally, in existence now or in the future, forever and ever (“SBS Services” or “Service”).
By using any of our products or services, you are agreeing to our Terms and Privacy Policy, you hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless SBS, including the company’s directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, independent and dependent contractors, licensees, successors and assigns from and against all claims, losses, expenses, damages and costs (including, but not limited to, direct, incidental, consequential, exemplary and indirect damages), and reasonable legal fees, resulting from or arising out of (i) a breach of this Policy, (ii) the use of the Terms and Privacy Policy, by you or any person using your account, or (iii) any violation of any rights of a third party.
In creating your account with SBS, you are confirming that you are confirming that you are between the ages of 18 and 60.
SBS respects the privacy of all Members and Affiliates, and understands that we may occasionally handle sensitive information.

SBS House Rules:

Don’t harass or deliberately offend other members of the community.
Don’t promote abuse or violence.
Don’t spam or automate.
Don’t impersonate others.
Don’t create more than one personal account. Especially if your account has been deactivated by SBS as a result of breaching this Policy.
Don’t use any SBS products or services for the purpose of your own commercial gain.
If you feel you are being abused or harassed by another member, you must inform SBS immediately.
Registration, Membership and Account Security
Accurate Information
We reserve the right to deactivate or delete your account at any time if you are deemed to be in breach of this Policy.
It is your responsibility as a Member of the SBS Community to provide information that is 100% accurate to your knowledge, and up to date.
You can amend your account and contact information at any time, through your Profile – My Account, or by clicking on your avatar in the main menu, and then My Account.
If you suspect any fraudulent activity on your account or someone else’s, or any other issues relating to account security, you must inform SBS immediately.
Please ensure your login details are kept private and secure at all times.
For the purpose of maintaining a high level of quality across all SBS events, SBS events are exclusive to Members Only. If your event ticket is purchased on a third party website, SBS will create your account for you after the event, and provide you with unique login details.
Your account will be deactivated if it is found to have been inactive or unused for a minimum of 12 Months. If you wish to reactivate your membership after this point, please email support@sincebeingsingle.com stating the following information:
You may request for SBS to deactivate your account at any time by emailing support@sincebeingsingle.com
If your account is deactivated, SBS reserves the right to keep a record of your data on file for no longer than one year from deactivation for reporting and analytical purposes.
SBS will allow up to one image that is not of you, if you feel this shows your lifestyle or personality in some way.
Your Privacy
The GDPR will replace an older directive on data privacy, Directive 95/46/EC, and it introduces a few important changes that may affect our Members.
Verifiable consent requires a written record of when and how you agreed to let us process your personal data. Consent must also be unambiguous and involve a clear affirmative action. This means clear language and no pre-checked consent boxes.
We are also able to tell you among other things, how your personal data is being used. If you ask, we are obligated to share the personal data we hold on you, or offer a way for you to access it.
Protecting Your Personal Information
In line with the Data Protection Act 1998, SBS will not sell, share, or make public any of the data that you provide as part of your membership.
SBS does not collect, store or retain any financial details upon paid transactions. Paid transactions are done through a 3rd party payment infrastructure, Stripe. The information we collect from you is also for the purpose of delivering the products and services of SBS to their full potential, to continue to improve these, and manage SBS business activity. The information also allows us to manage your account details and provide all Members of the SBS Community with sufficient customer service.
The information you provide allows also SBS to communicate with you in a sufficient and accurate manner about existing, new, and upcoming products and services that are relevant to you, or necessary as a member of the SBS Community.
Our requirements and recommended information requests are set so that you and other Members of the SBS Community may experience the full benefits of the SBS Community and all its features.
As a Member of the SBS Community, the only information we will ever require from you as mandatory is your first name, email address, city, religion, gender and date of birth.
We recommend that you add photos of yourself and fill out your profile to achieve the best results on the website.
Providing this information will allow SBS to verify your account, thus improving the quality of your account in addition to improving yours and the experience of other Members of the SBS Community.
Occasionally, we may obtain personal or non-personal information about you such as demographic information, purchase history, the type of browser you are using, access times or your language settings, for the purposes of research, marketing, and analytical purposes.
SBS will never contact you via any means other than the message feature on the SBS website or SBS Customer Support for the purpose of requesting or obtaining any personal or sensitive information relating to you or your account.
SBS may take photos, video or audio footage during events, which may include you in the background or foreground. In purchasing a ticket for an SBS event, or as an existing SBS Member, you are agreeing for these to be used for the purpose of marketing and promotion.
What Others See About You
You can choose to change your profile visibility so that all Members of the SBS Community can see your profile, only you can see your profile, only people you follow can view your profile, or only your followers can see your profile.
You can choose to receive messages from all Members of the SBS Community, from nobody, only from people you follow, or only from your followers.
Any activity or conversations you are party to in the SBS Community Forum will still be visible to other Members of the SBS Community if you choose to hide your profile from the SBS Community Members Directory, or limit the permissions that other users have to view your profile or send you private messages using the SBS Website.
How Others Interact With You
What You See
You will only be able to send messages to other Members of the SBS Community according to their privacy settings.
You will lose your 14 day right to cancel if you purchase a downloadable or streamed Mentorship programme.
All fees are final and must be paid in full by the customer immediately or as part of a payment plan set by SBS.
SBS reserves the right to offer refunds on a case-by-case basis.
All Mentorship programmes come with a 100% 60-Day Action-Based Money-Back Guarantee. This means if after 60 Days of completing the programme, and applying the strategies and techniques learnt during the programme, your love life does not improve, you can request a 100% Money Back Guarantee.
If the programme is Cancelled, altered, or put on hold at the request of the Customer, any remaining fees must still be paid in full within 14 days of the Cancellation request or hold request, as agreed at the start of the programme .
If the programme is Cancelled, altered, or put on hold at the request of the Customer, the 100% 60-Day Action Based Money-Back Guarantee no longer applies.
Any fees not paid within 14 days of the Cancellation request or hold request will incur interest charges set by the Bank of England interest rate.
If the programme is Cancelled or put on hold at the request of SBS, any remaining fees will be refunded in full.

Failure to comply with the SBS Mastermind Guidelines And Rules may result in being removed from the programme.
Our Matchmaking programme does not guarantee you will be introduced to a match at any time.
If we find a potential match for you, we will then send their profile over to you. If you and your match both like each other, we then send your contact details to them, and their contact details to you. For this we charge a fee of £20 to exchange details per match.
SBS reserves the right to Cancel your Matchmaking programme at any time if you are deemed to be in breach of this Policy. In this event you will no longer be able to access your account, and we will not provide a refund for any outstanding products or services.
To keep our events high quality, photographic Identification is required at all SBS Events. Please bring a UK Driving License or UK Passport with you that shows both your Photo and Date of Birth.
Refunds, Exchanges, or Credit Notes will be offered on a like-for-like basis, if:
Any reimbursement of charges will match the face value price paid for the ticket.
Any additional booking fees or charges from tickets purchased with third party suppliers will not be refunded.
If you cancel your ticket purchase after 14 days of your order being delivered or fail to attend the event or leave the event early, no refund will be offered.
A no show fee of £25 will be assessed if you do not attend. You agree to this when purchasing your ticket. This is a legally binding contract.
The £25 no show fee is also displayed at the top of each event description in bold red text and on your event ticket.
SBS reserves the right to refuse entry.
You can cancel your order up to 14 days after your order is delivered if your goods and services are worth £43 or more.
If any of our live events are postponed due to a temporary supervening event that arises without the fault of us, then any tickets purchased for that live event will automatically be rolled over for the next available date for that event. Supervening events are defined as Acts of God; government requests brought about for political reasons or not; changes of law, including deleted legislation and executive orders; strikes; industrial disputes; riots, rebellion and war; local government closures due to weather; government closures due to widespread illness, pandemics and any other reason for the safety and health of the community at large. If an event cannot be rescheduled as a live event within 90 days, the event shall be transformed in to a virtual format.
Refunds, Exchanges, or Credit Notes will be offered on a like-for-like basis, if the product or service has been cancelled by us.
Any reimbursement of charges will match the face value price paid for the product or service.
Any additional booking fees or charges from third party suppliers will not be refunded.
If you cancel your purchase after 14 days of your order being delivered, no refund will be offered.
If another member of the SBS Community makes you feel threatened or unsafe at any time, please report this immediately.

SBS reserves the right to take action where appropriate, and will only do so in instances where violations of this Policy can be proven.
The SBS Customer Service team aims to respond to all contact within 3 working days.
SBS will not tolerate any abusive or inappropriate behaviour towards any employee or representative of the company, and reserves the right to deactivate offending accounts without notice.
In the event that a claim or action is brought against SBS as a result of your membership of the SBS Community, activity or use of SBS products or services, including any breach of this Policy or any charges or complaints made by other parties against you, SBS is released from all claims, liability and damages arising the claim or action.
In such cases you agree to cooperate fully, and allow SBS to assume defense and control of the matter where necessary.
Protecting Other People’s Rights
SBS and other Members of the SBS Community may often provide and recommend links to third-party websites or resources including but not limited to blogs, articles, videos, or podcasts, by way of Knowledge Sharing:
SBS will always provide the source of shared Knowledge
SBS recommends that where possible, you must also provide the author or origin of any shared information which is not your own intellectual property
If you choose not to cite the source of said shared knowledge, you accept responsibility for the provision of the item(s) shared
If you choose to share your own intellectual property including but not limited to blogs, articles, videos, or podcasts, you are giving permission for SBS and other Members of the SBS Community to share these items
SBS recommends that if you do share your own intellectual property, you make clear that this was created by you.
You are prohibited from using any of the information shared by SBS or other Members of the SBS Community for the purpose of any form of commercial gain, including but not limited to licensing, selling, renting, leasing, transferring, assigning, distributing, hosting or otherwise commercially exploit the information provided by SBS:
All original information and content created by SBS is solely the intellectual property or copyright of SBS and any authorised contributors
All original information and content created by you is solely your intellectual property or copyright
All original information and content created by other individual Members of the SBS community and shared on the SBS Website is solely the intellectual property or copyright of said Members.
While using the features of the SBS Community Forums or the private messaging and other features of the SBS Website, other members may wish to share their own personal details, contact information, or other private property (physical or intellectual):
You are prohibited from using this information, whether in whole or in part, for any form of commercial or financial gain, including but not limited to licensing, selling, renting, leasing, transferring, assigning, distributing, hosting or otherwise commercially exploit the information provided to you
You may only use this information, whether in whole or in part, for the sole purpose that the other Member(s) intends and has stated in writing, providing this is not for any form of commercial or financial gain, including but not limited to licensing, selling, renting, leasing, transferring, assigning, distributing, hosting or otherwise commercially exploit the information provided to you

You are prohibited from modifying, making derivative works of, disassembling, reverse compiling or reverse engineering any part of the content or information shared or provided by SBS:

You are responsible for the opinions contained within your posts and accept that these opinions are not directly reflected by SBS or other Members of the Community.
Users Outside the United Kingdom
Regardless of where you live, as a Member of the SBS Website and SBS Community you consent to having your personal data, information, and contact details transferred to and processed and stored in the United Kingdom, where SBS operates.
Changes to this Policy
Should the policy be updated, SBS will notify all Members via email at least 7 days before any changes take effect, barring any unforeseen or exceptional circumstances
SBS will always make clear when the standing Policy was last updated
