How To Be Confident & Get Mental Toughness | Reading time: 2 mins
Confidence is something only some people have naturally. The rest have to learn over time.
I meet a lot of people who “TRY” to be confident. For the most part it’s a FALSE confidence. Especially girls. Like Aristotle taught: Courage is a balance. Too much confidence = foolhardy. Too little confidence = coward.
People say to me, “Kam how do you find love?” Me: “Be confident and start.” The reply I get is, “What if…” Most people are weak and fear based. If you’re not careful, you will become weak too.
Here’s 3 Quick Tips On How To Be Confident & Get Mental Toughness:
1. Don’t be weak willed
Success isn’t attained by the timid. There have been so many before you that have gone through so much worse and made it through their tenacity.
2. Keep life in perspective
Don’t waste mental energy on things that don’t really matter. As yourself, “Will this decision matter in a days time? Will it matter in a week? How about a year?”
3. Your confidence comes from your competence
Be a bad ass at something, even if it’s a little thing. That’s how you go up. That’s how you level up.
Remember, fear causes us to lose perspective. The important thing to remember is to have a Contrast-Bias. Your mind and your tolerance will rise to the occasion.
P.s If this is something you’re interested in, I’ve got something special for you. I want to personally invite you to a very special “How To Be Confident” Class I am holding in London on Tuesday 3rd April.
I’ll talk about how to be confident by developing mental toughness, how to have enough ego to stay confident, but not too much that you’re blind to your flaws, and how to go from shy to confident and get the results you want. That’s how you level up.
