Are Most Couples In Love Or Just Can’t Find Anyone Better? | Reading time: 2 mins

This week I posted a question on my Instagram: “Are most couples in love or just can’t find anyone else?”

(By the way, if you’re not following me on Instagram Stories (@sincebeingsingle), I post lots of cool dating tips and tricks daily).

Honestly, I think it’s 50/50. I see couples who are in love and I see couples who just settle for someone because they can’t find anyone better.

Here’s 3 Quick Tips To Find Love And Stay In Love:

Love isn’t enough
Saying “I love her” or “I love him” isn’t enough. There HAS to be more. Aligned values, similar morals and beliefs, complimentary mindsets, friendship, these things are important for a healthy committed relationship to last. Love isn’t enough.

Work on the relationship
Relationships need a LOT of work. Try this: Spend designated “relationship-time” together every day. Even 30 minutes a day. Switch off Netflix, turn off phones. Talk about your day, life, and anything that’s on your mind. Your relationship will flourish.

Grow together
One of the main reasons people get divorced is because either a) one person grows and the other stays the same or b) each person grow apart in two different directions. Find someone who you can grow together with. Life can be amazing.

And here’s what the SBS community said…
